Creator Marketplace & Revenue Share

We believe the people building the connectors should earn from their work. Here's how the marketplace model works.

How It Works

• Publish a connector -- Create a connector using the Chrome extension and push it to the OpenConnect server. Set it to public to make it available in the directory.
• Earn from every execution -- Every time another user executes your public connector through the platform, a share of the revenue goes to you. The more useful your connector, the more it gets used.
• Transparent tracking -- Your dashboard shows real-time execution counts, earnings, and historical data. No hidden calculations.
• Weekly payouts -- Earnings are calculated weekly. Payouts are sent once you reach the minimum threshold.

Revenue Split

For every paid execution of a public connector, revenue is split three ways:

If your connector is executed 1,000 times in a week by paid-tier users, with an average of $0.006 per execution:

• Total revenue generated: ~$6.00
• Your share (35%): ~$2.10
• Paid out weekly, no minimum threshold for accumulation

As your connector gains traction and usage scales, so does your earning potential. Popular connectors on high-traffic domains can generate significant recurring revenue.

Fair Use & Anti-Gaming

• Executions from the same account on their own connector earn points but do not generate revenue share payouts (prevents self-farming)
• Unusual execution patterns are flagged and reviewed
• All earnings are tracked on-ledger with full audit history visible in your dashboard
